Dallas, Texas, USA – October 17, 2013: The new Big Tex replaces the statue that was destroyed by fire (October 19, 2012). The new statue was unveiling, September 27, 2013 and is a marketing icon of the annual State Fair of Texas held at Fair Park in Dallas, Texas. The animated statue stands 55 feet tall (3 ft taller than previous), waves and talks. Cotton Bowl stadium in background
